Will we run out of oil in 44.6 years? Probably not, but I think ~100 years is a better estimate depending on conservation and new oil and gas discoveries.

50 officers took part in a raid of TPB (ThePirateBay) offices where their servers were located. The site will be down until the police complete their investigation. They were looking for illegal material.

DRM is the reason why the next generation DVD formats are a bad idea. Until they get rid of the DRM I don't recommend upgrading your DVD players for either your computer or your TV.

And what are we doing about it now? Why are hybrids still expensive than normal cars? There should be heavy tax on new vehicles that get less than 30 mpg. This should be leveraged to reduce the price of vechiles that get more than 30 mpg.

RIAA Sues XM for $150,000 per song

So basically if they won at that price they would put XM out of business. Sirrus already is paying RIAA lots of money for their device that is able to record radio broadcasts and now they are going after XM to cough up some extra dough that they feel obliged to.
